![]() Some developers have removed this feature from their games entirely as a result of public outcry over unfair play concerns about the practice For instance, many professionals consider aim assist cheating since they believe that it undermines skill-based gameplay. It gives players an advantage by helping them lock onto targets and improve accuracy, but it also affects the game’s balance because it can give users too big of an advantage over their opponents. So as I said just play the game and have fun.Aim assist is a controversial feature in competitive games. It would kill the competitiveness of the game - and the fun of it too. Your point of making a level playing field is mute however. When I hear the term, "aim assist" I think of 3rd party programs that turn your in-game character into a spinbot etc. And cheating is still a major issue in multiplayer pc games, I still don't see the con. ![]() Ppl with KBM still destroys controller users with aim assist. Don't use aim assist - it'll just ruin the game - both for you and the people you play against. Play the game as best you can and have fun. Plus then, anyone else who uses aim assits and hacks could just claim they're physically impaired, even though they're not to get away with cheating in-game. Which in turn would make a multi-player game one-sided. Originally posted by Coffinmaw:Even if you're physically impaired, aim-assits can make you better then people who're not impaired. I don't know, I don't want to start a hate debate but it just burns me out so much bigotry about this topic. If, like some ppl claim, PC is the platform of the freedom (Because you can basically use the hardware that you want, use mods, play with the graphics settings etc), it needs to level the field and give controller users support. "CT syndrome is caused by controller too!" Research a little, get straight your facts and come back. FPS on consoles seems pretty fun also, why not having the same experience on pc? "Controllers are not for FPS!" Maybe, but i'm not interested in being a pro player, I only want to compete at a normal level and a lot of ppl want the same, having fun and being casual. "Then go to console!" Nope, I want the benefits of the pc (AKA: 4K, smooth and high framerate, great graphics, customization, not paying for the server maintenance/internet, variety of hardware and building my own rig.) Yeah, okay, cheating, cheating is already happening without aim assist and will keep happening on pc no matter what we do, is just an invalid argument. The point is, why not letting some minor aim assist on multiplayer pc versions of the games? Is just a little advantage against the godly KB/M i really can't understand. ![]() These days made me think that I prefer to play safe and relaxed than being accurate and the top of the match. So, seems like ppl prefer to get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ injury rather than losing some aim or being less accurate in a damn videogame. The combination guitar/controller wouldn't cause this according to the doc. Why you people are so stubborn about using KB/M? I got my CTS for playing with a mouse (with all the precautions, stretching etc) and playing the guitar. This made me think a lot about the controller/PC combo. Since I was diagnosed with CTS 2 months ago I switched to XBOX 360 controller on pc to get some repose and relief in my wrist while I heal.
